These two images are both sculptures that are made by different artists. They both use a human figure image kind of way to make there sculptures. The sculpture on the left is Jean Dubuffets sculpture. The name of this sculpture is "la chiffonniere"the size of the sculpture is 22 feet tall and its weighs 2,500 lbs. The sculpture on the right is Alberto Giacometti. The sculpture name is "falling man" the size of the sculpture is 58.7 cm. The similarities of these sculptures is that they both take human figures and turn them into something like jean dubuffets you can see the face and the feet but then the rest of the body is made of like puzzles pieces maybe to describe that your life is a puzzle and you're trying to solve it. Alberto's sculpture is an image of a man falling. Maybe in his way of the falling man is that if you fall you pick yourself back up and keep moving on. So if something doesn't go right pick it back up and just forget about and move on to the next thing in life. So what these artist do in my image is that they take natural things and make a meaning for them into present life. Some of the differences are that they used different materials. Alberto doesn't make as big of sculptures as Jean does. Alberto's sculptures are manly human beings and what they do. Jean does animals and all of that too. The sculptures have a large difference on size.

I made flowers growing from the bottom of her dress up. I also out lined the dress with a black color and then I had the dress match the ocean like you're looking threw her dress into the ocean. I got better at using oil pastels and I got better at using colored pencils to make somethings darker than others. I'm pleased with how the girl with the dress came out and the way I made her body formation. I'd improve the water colors a little bit and make some spaces lighter and some darker even more in the outer ocean area not inside of the dress with the oil pastels, I would do it to make the picture look even more realistic.
